Scrase’s expertise of the seafood and finance industries makes him the ideal candidate for the new position as Chief Analyst Officer at Kontali.

Scrase comes from an Equity Analyst role at Carnegie Investment Bank where he oversaw coverage of the seafood sector. He has previously worked as Head of Investment and Industry Analyst and Group Business Analyst at Cermaq Global and was responsible for corporate finance projects within seafood at Fondsfinans. In addition, he brings with him a strong background of management consultancy and project management from DNB.
In his role, Scrase will have the unique responsibility for the analytics and development of Kontali’s data platform, Edge.

Full commitment to a new phase
Having undergone a digital transformation since Alytic bought the majority share in 2020, Kontali is now fully committed to a scale-up phase. To take Kontali to the next level, Alytic has changed the competency mix by adding technologists, product management, data scientists, a commercial team, and a strong management group. The new larger organisation will systematically accelerate product development and aim to please customers with modern delivery of aquaculture insight world-wide.
